The StarOffice Mail
application for electronic mail and StarOffice Discussion module
for Internet newsgroup reading foster outstanding communication
and are fully integrated into the StarOffice Desktop. You can
spellcheck and format mail messages using StarOffice Writer
functions, and send documents as e-mail attachments by selecting
File > Send > Document as e-mail from within all major StarOffice
components. With StarOffice 5.2 software, these e-mail and news
functions have been improved and extended with a focus on security,
ease-of-use, and reliability. For example, you can now open
attachments with a single instead of a double click, and you
may select more than one attachment simultaneously. No other
office suite makes it this easy to send and receive e-mail,
with this much flexibility in addressing, storing, filtering,
and exporting e-mail and news postings.
New and improved
features include:
NEW support
for PGP 6.5.1: Now you can send encrypted e-mail
messages based
on the international PGP standard, versions 5.5.3i, 6.02i,
and 6.5.1. The StarOffice setup program recognizes any existing
versions of PGP and automatically installs PGP support during
the installation process. If you install PGP after installing
StarOffice software, you must run the StarOffice setup program
again, select Custom Installation, and then select PGP support
from the optional components list.
Improved
merge process for e-mails:
Send e-mail merges twice to three times faster than before.

program by: Choosing your favorite font and size to display
your messages Customizing the desktop display of e-mail
